The Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) is jointly invested and constructed by Shanghai Lujiazui Exhibition Development Co., Ltd. and Messe Düsseldorf International GmbH (a member of Deutsche Messe AG/ Messe Düsseldorf GmbH/ Messe München GmbH). As the first exhibition center jointly invested and built by Chinese and foreign parties, SNIEC has become one of the most successful exhibition centers in China.
SNIEC boasts 17 single-story, column-free exhibition halls, covering an indoor exhibition area of 200,000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition area of 100,000 square meters. Since its opening in 2001, SNIEC has experienced steady growth, hosting approximately 100 renowned exhibitions annually and attracting over 7 million domestic and international business visitors.
